On Friday night at 7:30 pm we have the wonderful opportunity to host Invisible Children at Meadowbrook Church. Uguanda and neighboring countries have experienced war for twenty-four years. This war, created by the Lord’s Resistance Army, consists of the abduction of child soldiers and child brides. Invisible Children will show a documentary, share about the situation and how you can help, and a young man from Uganda will be there to share his experiences.
Merchandise, the majority of which is handmade in Uganda, will be available for purchase, and donations are welcomed but not pressured. All proceeds will go to Invisible Children and their support of the Acholi people of Northern Uganda. Thank you for your support-
